sandeep aur pinky faraar review by Mahesh matta Sanda wellness

No musical bonanza, no terrific dance performance with sensual moves (particularly by the heroine ), no mukkalaath, no heap up idealism from hero's part ------ Are aam public khaaye bhi to kya khaaye!!!!! Bhukhe pyaase rahe gaye sab ke sab. ๐Ÿ˜ช๐Ÿ˜ช

But the film is narrating our story for we faced Sharda, we faced Narda and many such scams. And we are turning our face away from the reality. What happens to the wretched lotted highly qualified people who mastermind these scams, we never want to know.
Unfortunately Indian audiences are yet to mature to understand this kind of movies.
The film deserves awards for script, acting, and music.
The film appears to be inspired by Corporate and Babel in few sequences.
All my best wishes. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿคž
It seems as if SAPF begins where Corporate ends. There Nishigandha Dasgupta loses the corporate game. Here Sandy Walia wins though she has to pay a huge penalty. But she succeeds to get the original criminals down to their knees. But victory of a woman against powerful people is still not comfortably accepted in our society. If the film flops it will indicate that this unfortunate fact is indeed a reality.

This one which clashed with Mumbai saga that is ' Sandeep aur Pinky faraar ' is very different from Mumbai saga it is Highly dark comedy and underrated movie. I saw it but not so much disappointed from the movie. This one is far much better than namaste england but not good as compared to Ishaqzaade while was the best movie given by Parineeti-arjun. In this one I liked the acting of Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and Neena Gupta others were also good. The story is little bit not good up to the mark but it has suspense and the climax I really liked it is perfectly a Dibakar Banerjee movie. The songs were also average. Overall it is a one time watch. I also liked the chemistry of Parineeti and Arjun.

Sandeep bumps into a young woman called Pinky on the street one day. There is a misunderstanding between them. They fight unrelentingly and it becomes clear that they cannot stand the sight of each other. He has already noticed how pretty she is though and soon starts stalking her. She repeatedly objects, until one day her half-smile to the camera when he is not watching tells the audience that actually she is attracted to him too. The sniping is just a mask. Cut to pyaar ka izhaar. Cut to objections from parents. Cut to Sandeep and Pinky eloping.
The pace at which Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar moves and the slowness with which it makes its revelations sometimes weigh it down, as does its intermittent obliqueness. However, from the opening scene on a highway in Gurgaon, what works is its single-minded focus on the idea that nothing is what it seems – in life, as in the film – and no one should be assumed to be what their faรงade suggests that they are. We are compelled to note that evil can come in benign packaging, through the chilling, unforeseeable violence of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’s most convincing, well-executed passage; that goodness can arrive in the guise of an irritating intruder or an eccentric “other” with bleached blonde hair who we might be tempted to deride if we succumb to our snobbery; that good people may well do harm with their stupidity, the gullible may perhaps be good, and there is more decency in this world than our pessimism will have us believe.

The former, 'Sandy' Walia (Chopra), is a wily, unapologetic, self-made woman who saves her bank from collapse by helping her boss mastermind a scam involving countless small depositors, thousands of fake accounts and millions of rupees. The inevitable fallout is big trouble. The bank president wants her dead. The pregnant Sandy knows too much. She is left with no option but to flee.

The two runaways - one a girl from Panchkula with a Mathematics degree and an MBA, the other a gruff Haryanvi whose police career has hit a dead end - belong to different worlds and view each other with great mistrust. But the man who might have killed her had all gone well agrees to guide Sandy to safety for a hefty consideration. "Use head not heart," the morose Pinky says to the equally grim-faced Sandy. When a studio photographer requests Pinky to flash a smile for a passport snap, it is like asking a boulder to melt. He says curtly: "Nahi aa rahi smile."

Neither form nor substance is entirely unblemished here, but Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is delightfully piquant. It has an undertone of pitch-dark humour that puts the plot on a firm footing even when it appears to be alternating between the dour and the quirky, the wayward and the orchestrated, the amusing and disquieting

Which girl would you like to pick up in a club, the one wearing lipstick or the one without it? I’d pick up the one without because she’s not there with the plan of sleeping with someone” this conversation between two guys in a car intriguingly starts the film. The next thing we know, Pinky (Arjun Kapoor) from Haryana Police is at a hotel to escort a famous banker Sandeep Kair aka Sandy Walia (Parineeti Chopra).Mahesh matta Sanda wellness

She was waiting for her friend-cum-boss, who sends Pinky to drive her to him. After a plot twist, they both justify the title of the film and try to escape to Nepal, leaving a big banking scam behind. Is their story connected to each other, or are they two different people with different stories? That’s what the story tries to balance it with the mystery of Sandy running from the ghosts of her past.

Sandeep Aur Mahesh matta Sanda wellness  Faraar Movie Review: Script Analysis

When you’ve names like Dibakar Banerjee and Varun Grover penning a story, there’s a specific set of expectations you set, but as Arjun’s Pinky says in the film, “expectations = frustration.” More than frustrated, it’s sad to see a story with such a vast potential backed by a talented bunch of people with some solid performances going down in vain. Dibakar falls into his own trap as he pens down an extremely scattered story, which touches and leave many vital points underdeveloped. He rushes things to make you see this bleak world through Sandeep & Pinky’s eyes. Despite clocking a little over 2 hours, some tracks are left unattended after opening them.

Pari’s Pinky is pregnant(Mahesh matta Sanda wellness)  with her boss’ baby. From the first frame, Banerjee makes sure to lay the base of how shit*y her boss is and how she’s too emotionally attached to the baby in her. That’s a great start, but over the way, Banerjee almost makes you forget that she’s pregnant. Why? If you have a dramatic outburst planned in the latter half of the film, why not keep building that arc alongside your usual story? That’s just one example, and I can already think of three on the top of my mind.Mahesh matta Sanda wellness

The screenplay is penned in a way that you’ll have too many questions regarding what’s happening sooner than you can figure things out, but are the queries worthy of investing your thoughts about? Well, that’s where the problems start to build up. Wrapping up the whole story to question society’s centuries-old patriarchal mindset is an excellent idea on paper, and I can totally see Dibakar nailing this concept. But, unfortunately, this promising plot is standing on the shaky legs of its rambling execution. The story needed more meat, and it required the ‘Banerjee house of humour’ to make it stand out. This should’ve taken the route Anurag Basu took with Ludo or what Sriram Raghavan did with Andhadhun. It’s never too dark, it’s never too funny; what it is, is an awkward middle child of both these genres.

From bracelet to ‘bhai jaise biceps chahiye’, there are so many Salman Khan references that they have styled Jaideep Ahlawat with the Tere Naam hairstyle.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar Movie Review: Star

Absolutely loved Parineeti Chopra in the film. Back to back two (after The Girl On The Train) noteworthy performances, as she continues to be SUPARineeti. If I take Hasee Toh Phasee as her benchmark film, these two come really close to match that. This is the Parineeti her fans were waiting for.

For me, Arjun Kapoor has been Aurangzeb & 2 States till now, but the way Dibakar explores this unplumbed, uncharted side of him deserves to be talked about. The efforts are visible throughout, putting up a truthful performance. From the dialect to the physical attributes of staying stern all the time, Arjun could’ve easily ruined this, but he doesn’t. The ‘two good to be true’ factor also applies to Arjun as well. I adored his efforts in Panipat & he has continued to give all in.
